Some of you might have noticed in this morning’s papers that the Times, the New York Times, did not nominate Meryl Streep in the running for the Screen Actors Guild lifetime achievement award. It’s okay. We’re pretty high on her. There are critics and journalists who have championed her for decades.

But here’s why we don’t cast our ballots for Meryl Streep or what happens when we see her face.
